About the location

ST KEYNE

Liskeard 3 miles; Looe 5 miles.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Set in the main valley leading down to the coast at Looe is the sleepy village of St Keyne. A haven for nature and wildlife lovers, this lovely region is renowned for its rolling meadows and wooded valleys. With sandy beaches and long coastal walks, the village is close to the south coast, which serves as the area's main attraction whilst visitors who would like to experience traditional working Cornish fishing towns can enjoy a trip to Polperro and Looe - just a 20 minute drive away. There are a number of elegant country houses nearby, in addition to the impressive cathedral city of Truro. Also within easy reach are the world-renowned Eden Project and the wonderful gardens at Heligan.
