Bolton Low Houses 1.3 miles. Situated in peaceful and tranquil countryside between the Solway Plain and the Lake District National Park, these two semi-detached cottages are located on the owner's award-winning conservation and wildlife working dairy farm, near the village of Bolton Low Houses and the town of Wigton. These delightful Cumbrian cottages have been lovingly created from a 200-year old sandstone barn and both have been carefully converted using green design, and have many green credentials, including energy from the farm’s renewable energy source right down to the use of ecological paints. These two cottages near Wigton have been uniquely furnished and decorated, as well as retaining their character and charm to provide wonderful accommodation for couples, families and friends. The Old Bothy is a semi-detached cottage, on a working dairy farm, near the village of Bolton Low Houses and Wigton in Cumbria.
This cottage sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one twin, as well as a bathroom.
The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.
