About the location

ARCHIESTOWN

Elgin 17 miles; Grantown-on-Spey 24 miles.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Archiestown is a pretty and tranquil village located in beautiful Morayshire to the north of the River Spey and is one of the highest villages in Moray. In the centre of the village is a pretty tree-lined square, which is a designated conservation area, and the Archiestown Hotel occupies a corner location on the square. Archiestown is a very well kept and friendly village that has won the Moray ‘village in bloom’ competition on many occasions.
