Coxwood Farm Cottages

Rossett 3 miles. Three farm cottages on a small livestock farm, 3 miles from Rossett. Skilfully converted from a large 19th century outbuilding, the cottages provide spacious accommodation, with exposed beams to enhance the character. There is shared use of an indoor games room, an outdoor children’s play area with an outdoor trampoline, swing, slide and climbing frame, and a lawned garden to the front of the properties. Just 6 miles away is the historic city of Chester, with beautiful architecture, medieval city walls and Roman ruins, along with quality shopping and excellent pubs and restaurants. Enjoy a trip to the Blue Planet Aquarium, Loggerheads Country Park or the Llangollen Railway, or canal boat trips - something for everyone! When booked together the three cottages sleep 20.

About the location

ROSSETT

Chester 6 miles; Llangollen 15 miles.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Rossett lies just inside the Welsh border, sitting on the banks of the River Alyn. It is surrounded by good, gentle walking country with much of the landscape being very flat, although hills do rise to the south and west. The village itself is made up of many striking buildings, such as Trevalyn Hall and a church that was built in 1892 by two architects and uses tubular bells to peal. Rossett is well situated for visitors to explore local attractions such as Chester Zoo, the Cheshire Ice Cream Farm and the ancient ruins of Beeston Castle. The River Alyn offers sport and tranquillity for fishermen and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Herons, cormorants, water voles and kingfishers are still to be seen along the Alyn and the fishing is plentiful.
