Set amidst the stunning countryside of the North York Moors, the area is full of great walking opportunities whilst the nearby towns of Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside provide great shopping with their wealth of quaint tea rooms, individual shops, galleries and good restaurants. The market town of Pickering is just 10 miles away and hosts not only Pickering castle but also the North York Moors Steam Railway.
