Close by are National Trust owned Dovedale, the Tissington Trail, the village of Hartington with its famous cheese shop and market towns including Buxton and Ashbourne. Wonderful surrounding countryside allows for great walking and cycling, and Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are well worth a visit.
