Upstairs, the cottages feature a modern bathroom and bedrooms with lovely views of the nearby fells. Nearby, Diggle has two traditional pubs, a newsagent, Post Office and a popular chip shop. There is a network of excellent walks, bridleways and cycle routes along valleys or up to the moors that offer glorious views from the cottage, plus other picturesque Saddleworth villages are short drives away. A scenic journey across the moors will bring you to the tourist locations of Hebden Bridge, Haworth, Marsden, Meltham and Holmfirth.
