St. Abbs is a pretty fishing village located just over the border into Scotland on a beautiful stretch of Berwickshire coastline. The village has a delightful harbour and fishermen's cottages scattered on the hillside and the St. Abbs Head Nature Reserve nearby is home to a rich variety of wildlife and is a popular destination for bird watchers. The area also has some beautiful walks, with the Cheviots, Scottish Borders and the stunning coastline all offering opportunities for walking. A safe, sandy beach is located under a mile away in Coldingham.
