Further south is the market town of Thirsk, home to the James Herriot Museum and Thirsk racecourse, a great day out! Nearby Richmond is a real delight, discover the ancient cobbled streets and architecture, featuring an array of superb inns and restaurants and several intriguing museums. Explore the fascinating Norman castle, peruse the colourful stalls at the weekly market, or take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque River Swale. Yorkshire Lodge is a log cabin in Kiplin, near Richmond, which offers a bright and spacious, warm welcome at any time of the year and can sleep six people.
The all ground floor cottage has a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a sofa bed.
Outside there is ample off road parking, bike storage available by prior arrangement with owner, a decked balcony with furniture and a hot tub and open grassed areas to the sides of the property.
